What I've been up to
I know I've been a little bit naughty by being absent from my blog.  But it's more important that I don't mess anything up on my final year at university.  It's actually really difficult to 'explain' how much work art students have to do.  Many would say 'I know how you feel, I have lots of assignments to do too!', but trust me, they don't.  Most of the time, those students (non art & design related) would attend lectures/seminars (if they don't skip), then study purely from books or what they've learnt.  For creative students though, it is a little bit different.  I feel that we have twice as much to do, within a short amount of time!  The inner-feeling of being an 'artist' can be express as extremely pleasurable, or completely bullshit when something don't go the way you wanted it to.  Let's just say, I've recently submitted two massive deadlines, with two days in-between about two weeks ago.  One of the deadlines was a dissertation.  Totally stressful, and constantly studying all day and all night up until the very last minute.  The fact that other courses have until April-June to submit their dissertations is a complete joke.  And another deadline was what we would call 'a masterpiece'...  I would definitely get a migraine if I have to explain what we had to do for that.
Joules Beauty Products Review
On the bright side, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to review a beauty set from Joules.  Can I just say that my family and I have been loyal customers towards Joules, ever since I was a young girl!  Although, I have never tried their beauty products, as I usually purchase a lot more from the clothing section.  I love that Joules offers casual pieces that I can pick straight out of my wardrobe, allowing me to have that throw-it-on attitude, before I go out pulling off a stylish and comfortable look.
When I received this gorgeous set, I was so impressed with the packaging.  The floral designs on the box and the products has really brighten up my day!  The vivid packaging has captivated me, and I was super excited to try these products out!
This set contains:
Bubble Bath Soak
Body Wash
Body Lotion
Body Scrub
Body Butter
Shower cap
I was not disappointed!  The consistency of the body lotion and body butter were amazingly smooth - My skin felt so soft!  I absolutely love the tangy, citron smell from this set, and I do own a few other products with similar scent to this too.  I personally love this sort of scent when it comes to any products relating to the skin (mainly for body) because it smells so refreshing, and it always reminds me of the hot summer days!  The body wash and bubble bath are very similar, apart from the bubble bath liquid being slightly thicker which is totally perfect for creating bubbles!  The body scrub has a slightly less tangy scent when comparing to the other products, but the scrub itself works really nicely.  My skin felt really soft afterwards!  I also received a £10 voucher to spend in joules store too!  Well, what an amazing treat!
Excuse me, while I go and enjoy a relaxing bath with this cute shower cap on my head!

  4. Hi Boonya, hope all is well!

I know EXACTLY how you feel, with studying graphic design I felt totally swamped by work - people just don't understand. They think design is an 'easy subject'.
Not long left now for you, bet you can't wait.

This is such a pretty set, the scrub and body butter look amazing!! Would love to try them.
