Chillin' at the park | OOTD

Last sunday at 8pm, I decided to go to the park.. sat down on the grass, and felt pretty relaxed (but cold) with my boyfriend.  I thought it was a good idea to take my little 'Westie' out for a walk.  Although, she ended up running after a squirrel all evening, which kept us very well entertained!
I didn't make a plan on taking any photo of my outfit that evening, as I felt that it was on a sunday, and being lazy was allowed.  Then, I changed my mind.  As I realised, we're allowed to have a lazy outfit day from time to time.  I didn't care so much about what I was going to wear... I just knew it was still sunny, so I grabbed my +Topshop sunglasses (if you live in England, you would know that feeling of trying to have an excuse to wear sunglasses when it's (hardly) sunny), put on a dress and gold studded flat shoes from primark, and a cute pink bow belt from +Miss Selfridge.  Plus, it was rather cold, so I decided to finish my lazy sunday outfit with a jacket from +Topshop.
Have a bubbly day,
and see you in the next post!

Lunch at Carluccio's

00:31 B 96 Comments

Today, me and my sister decided to go and have lunch at Carluccio's, an authentic Italian restaurant.
Altogether, we had 3-courses.  Even though, I struggled to finish my main course... it would be impolite to leave out the desserts (well... That's what I thought *smiley face*)!

Tiramisu was so delicious!  It was so rich, so if you're a Tiramisu fan then I'd recommend it to you!  The spongey biscuits were so soft, and the cream just melts in your mouth!  However, if you're an ice-cream lover (like me), their melon flavoured ice-cream are so refreshing!  Perfect for after a heavy Italian secondi course!  I wish I could have more space in my tummy, as I would definitely order one separately!
Have a yummy-tummy day, <3

Matching bright colour with black and white

17:53 B 20 Comments

Hello!
Sorry about the terrible quality of my photograph, as I couldn't really carry my SLR into a nightclub.
I'm really into monochrome, and bright colours as well.  It's interesting, as you can mix and match with almost everything to create lots of different styles - and still look up to date!  As a fact, we all know that black and white goes well with anything.  But in some occasion, you might want to spice things up a little, so it doesn't get too boring.
On this post, I show you an example of how I'd style stripes with bold colour.  You either choose the top- half, or bottom-half to be stripy, and the other half to be bright and catchy.  You don't really want to be looking like a zebra, do you?
(Unless you're going to a fancy-dress party, then that'd be more than acceptable).
I worn a bright yellow lace peplum (ish) top from +River Island, with a tight-fitted jegging from +LUCIE POWIS (Rubyred Boutique).  Followed by accessories from +Topshop+Primark online and +Michael Kors.  My black and gold wedges were from Office.
Have a lovely day, <3

Fashion Styling in London and Milan

20:00 B 1 Comments

I'm in the process of sorting out a summer course,
'Fashion Styling and Image Creation' at Central Saint Martins, London.
This is a dual course, where going to NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano)
in Milan sounds too amazing to be ignored.
I've always been interested in Fashion.  But it wasn't until last year, when I was about to finish my first year at university that I was so passionate about it.  My tutors often told me that I might be on the wrong course, as my previous project, and most of my knowledge seemed to be stronger on Fashion.  That comment kind of makes me feel unsteady about Fine Art.  Although, I told myself I'd give it another try, as I continue the whole of my second year.  It was good.
But my heart is still set directly on Fashion.
There are many designers, stylists etc., with an art background.  Most of them have an interest in 'Art' anyway.  This is why I didn't need to drop out from Fine Art, as I believe that Fashion and Art were from the same family.  It's always good to stay creative, as we really do need something new in the fashion world.  It gets a bit boring when I want to go shopping, and often see the same (or very similar) styles in fashion stores.  It's frustrating, as I don't really want to look like someone else from head to toe.  This is where the 'bigger brands' spring into my mind, but the price tags can be pretty harsh.  You can definitely use the term, I've just broke my bank account after purchasing a scarf from Louis Vuitton.
Anyway, I'm hoping to gain more experience from this summer course.
I trust St. Martins to deliver a good quality, and professional taste of what I always wanted to do!
Even though, it's only a short amount of time, but at least I'm trying things, and moving forward!
Let me know if you've been involved with something like this, or thinking of doing something similar?
Have a fabulous day, <3

Michael Kors Leather Watch

02:01 B 5 Comments

It was my birthday on the 12th May, where I received this gorgeous watch from my parents.  They offered me another Gucci watch, but I turned it down as the new collection from Gucci wasn't 'sparkling' as much as Michael Kors' collection.  The trend of leather strap watches is coming back, well, actually it has always been here but the whole gold stainless steel watches seems to over-powered the beauty of the straps.  I had the choice to choose anything, but after trying on a few stainless steel watches, I found that they were all too big for my wrist!  I must be one of the first person who have managed to make Michael Kors' stainless steel watches look stupid.  And because of that, I found that the leather design compliments my tiny wrist a lot better!  Plus, I love the details of the golden buckle too - very bling-bling!
Thanks Mr. Kors! I am a happy little lady!
Have a fabulous day, <3
