ROHMIR AW14

Leather, bold prints, faux fur - those were the highlight of the event.  Which, combined beautifully with cobalt blue, navy, emerald green and a touch of softness from pastel shades.  It's obvious that I was very impressed by this collection of Rohmir, but I've decided to photograph my most-favourite outfits from the side of the catwalk.  Not forgetting to mention that some of their previous collections are just as beautiful.  Every garments are so wearable, and while I was watching the show, I (literally) imagined myself wearing some of their designs.  I love that the collection has a modern, yet feminine twist to it.  In my opinion, the combinations of sequins and fur is always a winner.  And somehow, all the colours and textures reminded me a lot of the ocean - very rich and vibrant.
This collection is currently on air through fashiontv (from 10-19 March) as well, so I hope all of you fashionistas will get a chance to see all of the stunning pieces coming to live.
Which outfit(s) do you think is the most glamorous?
Have a wonderful day,

STYLE-SPOTTER LFW AW14

Friday 14th February.  Lots of rain.  I didn't have an umbrella.
I know I should always be prepared.  But I didn't mind that my hair got wet (actually I did), being present was the priority.  My intention was to hang out at somerset house all day - to shoot as many amazing street outfits as possible.  But it was raining heavily (most of the day), so most people kind of disappeared indoor, and I didn't really want to disrupt the crowd, as they waited endlessly to get inside the show space.  Anyway, I had the most amazing week, I've met and worked with so many people, and may have to say that my second season at LFW has ended with long lasting memories.
Cannot wait for next season.  And definitely cannot wait until summer because it means two things: graduation, and full-time committed to the industry of fashion!
Which outfit are you most inspired by?
Have a wonderful day,
Boonya

LONDON FASHION WEEK AW14 | OOTD

Hello!  I hope everybody's having a good saturday so far!  It was really sunny earlier… that was really nice - I guess it's okay when a British person say that kind of thing, right?
Anyway, I know London Fashion Week is over, but it doesn't mean that it's over for many fashion lovers out there including myself.  Many of you who are reading this right now probably didn't even know that I was at London Fashion Week again.  It's most likely because I don't make every 'announcements', when I think I should?  I was there to work hard, while having lots of fun really.
Last season, I didn't have any time (or a photographer) to capture my outfits - not that I had lots of time to run around in many fancy outfits either.  Work and being professional comes first!  Although, this season, I hung out (for a whole day) at Somerset House with an absolutely awesome girl, who has kindly took some quick snaps of what I was wearing that day.  The weather was terrible though.  Heavy rain and wind, so shooting outdoor would of been a disaster!
I was inspired by monochrome, sporty look and a pop of colour that day!
IN THIS OUTFIT:
TOP - MISS SELFRIDGE
BLAZER - H&M
FUR GILLET - PRIMARK
SKORT - ZARA
SHOES - KURT GEIGER
BAG - PRIMARK
Have a lovely weekend!

What I've been up to
I know I've been a little bit naughty by being absent from my blog.  But it's more important that I don't mess anything up on my final year at university.  It's actually really difficult to 'explain' how much work art students have to do.  Many would say 'I know how you feel, I have lots of assignments to do too!', but trust me, they don't.  Most of the time, those students (non art & design related) would attend lectures/seminars (if they don't skip), then study purely from books or what they've learnt.  For creative students though, it is a little bit different.  I feel that we have twice as much to do, within a short amount of time!  The inner-feeling of being an 'artist' can be express as extremely pleasurable, or completely bullshit when something don't go the way you wanted it to.  Let's just say, I've recently submitted two massive deadlines, with two days in-between about two weeks ago.  One of the deadlines was a dissertation.  Totally stressful, and constantly studying all day and all night up until the very last minute.  The fact that other courses have until April-June to submit their dissertations is a complete joke.  And another deadline was what we would call 'a masterpiece'...  I would definitely get a migraine if I have to explain what we had to do for that.
Joules Beauty Products Review
On the bright side, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to review a beauty set from Joules.  Can I just say that my family and I have been loyal customers towards Joules, ever since I was a young girl!  Although, I have never tried their beauty products, as I usually purchase a lot more from the clothing section.  I love that Joules offers casual pieces that I can pick straight out of my wardrobe, allowing me to have that throw-it-on attitude, before I go out pulling off a stylish and comfortable look.
When I received this gorgeous set, I was so impressed with the packaging.  The floral designs on the box and the products has really brighten up my day!  The vivid packaging has captivated me, and I was super excited to try these products out!
This set contains:
Bubble Bath Soak
Body Wash
Body Lotion
Body Scrub
Body Butter
Shower cap
I was not disappointed!  The consistency of the body lotion and body butter were amazingly smooth - My skin felt so soft!  I absolutely love the tangy, citron smell from this set, and I do own a few other products with similar scent to this too.  I personally love this sort of scent when it comes to any products relating to the skin (mainly for body) because it smells so refreshing, and it always reminds me of the hot summer days!  The body wash and bubble bath are very similar, apart from the bubble bath liquid being slightly thicker which is totally perfect for creating bubbles!  The body scrub has a slightly less tangy scent when comparing to the other products, but the scrub itself works really nicely.  My skin felt really soft afterwards!  I also received a £10 voucher to spend in joules store too!  Well, what an amazing treat!
Excuse me, while I go and enjoy a relaxing bath with this cute shower cap on my head!

Message to Joules:  Thank you so much for this amazing set, I can finally feel fresh
again after those deadlines with this beauty set!
Have a wonderful day,

FAUX FUR, WINTER OOTD | Sponsored: Firmoo Sunglasses Review

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to Firmoo for a lovely compliment about my blog, and sending a stunning pair of sunglasses for me to review.  I've chosen this in the colour tortoise because I love the design of the sides, and the fact that it's quite oversized.  I love oversized sunglasses, but when I received this and tried it on, the frames are quite big for my face, although it fitted perfectly around my nose and ears.  The quality is well-made, and the plastic doesn't feel cheap at all!  However, if I have to make a critical comment, it would be the fact that the lens on both sides do not meet the end of the frames.  Personally, I wouldn't choose to have a gap on both sides of my sunglasses frame.
It's getting really cold over here.  And the fact that I kept getting ill and being stressed about things aren't cool as I have so much work to do for uni.  Also, it gets completely dark by 4pm, so trying to do everything while the sun (even though we don't really get sunshine in England..) is still out can be a challenge as there are more hours of darkness.
Anyway, if you're from a warmer/hot country, please send me some of your sunshine
as a hot chocolate drink won't even keep me warm! <3
